The scent of the cytrus fruits, expecially the lemon's, are commons elements in many traditional meals of Minori, it's possible to find these particular plates in many "trattorie" (eating house) and in the restourants spread all around in little squares and alleys of the village. You can find a lot of special recipes like: lemon "tagliolini" (kind of noodles), "pastiere" (cakes) and "sospiri al limone" (lemon sweets). The most important meal of Minori's tradition it's a particular "pasta" called " 'ndunderi" made of flour, ricotta and cheese. A delicious meal impossible to miss. It's also impossible to forget about the festivals and religious events that fill the Minori's summer shedule and not only that. A lot of amazing events also international festivals like "Jazz on the Coast", that brings to Minori notorious artists, attracting a lot of tourists and visitors from all the coast. Another important manifestations are "Gusta Minori" a specilal event that links letterature and gastronomic arts, concerts and wonderful tournaments. This generous territory offers excellent raw materials helping the constant developement of the local high standard handmade food productions: vines, liquors, sweets, and dry pasta are already known and exported all around the world...
History in a nutshell

The origin of Minori like roots of Maiori are lost in time, the ancient "Reghinna Minor" was the name of the old Etruscan city. Like Maiori and many other villages around the Amalfitan coast, Minori was the home place of many rich Romans that built on its land luxorious villas. The ruins of these wonderful ancient houses are all around.
